Anchor shafts, bearing shields and insulating bushes
Everything that rotates is subject to wear and tear and that is certainly no exception for electric motors.
In most cases, the parts of an electric motor can be repaired by us. This saves both costs and the environment. Think of the (anchor) shafts, the bearing covers and insulation bushes.
With anchor shafts (the rotating part and also called a rotor) we can restore both the bearing and the seal fit. We realign the bearing fits on the rotor so that it can be used as new again and will not break in as quickly.
These, often aluminum, shields are often made by means of an injection molding process. It is possible that the bearing shields do not always fit properly and then the bearing fit will eventually wear out, the vibrations will pass through the bearing to the shield. By rebusting or spraying these shields, we give them a second life. They are often better than the original shields.
Insulation bushes and rings are often used in larger electric motors in particular. These are newly manufactured by us and we provide them with a dielectric (electrically insulating) layer. This layer has an insulation value of 300-350 volts per 0.1 mm layer thickness. With a net layer thickness of 0.3 mm we obtain an insulation value against electrical breakdown of 900-1050 volts. This layer is therefore mainly used for isolating leakage voltages through ball bearings in electric motors.
OEM suppliers often charge exorbitant amounts for new genuine parts for their machines. As a customer, you often have no other options because it simply does not fit your configuration.
